It’s important to first get your body primed and properly warmed up by stretching and doing some light cardio. Once you’re warmed up start with some basic boxing drills like jabs, crosses, hooks, and uppercuts to get your heart rate up and work on your technique. To truly get in the UFC spirit you can also add in some ground and pound exercises. This means you’re going to practice punching a heavy bag or focus mitts while moving on the ground. Make sure to always wear proper protective gear, focus on your form, and stay hydrated during your workout.
