🕑 Added 2023-06-25 15:43:21 +0000 UTC STOOOOP I HAVENโT READ SO MUCH YET ๐ ๐ LET'S PLAY you: give me a like on this post I: share with you one interesting fact about Ukrainian sexual culture from Iryna Ihnatenko's book Body Sex Marriage 1) studying the topic of extramarital sex, it is difficult not to notice double standards: on the one hand, the glorification of virgin modesty, "purity," "honesty," and the cult of virginity; on the other hand, the encouragement, necessity, and sometimes even coercion of a girl sleeping with a boy at parties, which were widely known and practiced in a number of regions of Ukraine. 2) the marriageable age, depending on the region, covered the following range: for girls - 15-18 years, for boys - 16-20 years. After the age of twenty, a girl or a boy was considered "overage" and dropped out of the group of potential brides. 3) there was a well-known "p r y t u l a" - a game that consisted of a guy barely inserting his dick into a pussy - "dipping the tip" - but not moving further. 4) Ukrainians preferred primarily black or brown hair, both for girls and boys. Red and blonde hair was considered ugly. 5) it was at these parties that girls lost their virginity. There is evidence that 45.6% of girls who went to parties lost their virginity before marriage. For comparison: among those who did not attend such events, the number is almost twice as low - 23.8%. 6) there was a ban on bathing on Sundays, fasting days, and certain calendar periods: before the Green Holidays, before Ivan, after Elijah or Savior. A special ban on bathing in water was imposed for the entire week after Trinity, the Mermaid Week, which is a memorial week for Ukrainians. 7) in the most archaic regions of Ukraine - in Polissya and the Carpathians - ethnographers have recorded information about the rite of "kuvada" - male "childbirth". In addition to the presence and practical assistance of a man at a woman's childbirth, he could: a) actually experience the pain of childbirth; b) imitate such pain. For example, in Polissia, it is said that once upon a time, knowledgeable people used to make sure that all the labor pains of the woman in labor were transferred to the man, so that he suffered, while the woman only physiologically gave birth without any pain. 8) men were forbidden to have sexual intercourse before fishing, hunting, plowing, sowing, cleaning a well, or stabbing a pig; women were forbidden to have sexual intercourse before making the fabric base, cooking, especially those dishes that required fermentation, such as kneading bread. 9) Based on estimates for 19 years (from 1867 to 1886), there was only one (1) divorce per 1,000 marriages in Ukraine annually. 10) The euphemism "cabbage" was apparently used because cabbage leaves could be associated with the labia minora and labia majora. This explains why the children were told that they were found in the cabbage. 11) Try to guess the Ukrainian erotic riddle: "I'll put in the hard, take out the soft, and at the end, drop the drop."
