dear diary #7halloween was a blast, and i did my best to enjoy the spooky season, even though my mind has been occupied with Finick’s health.we’re still making regular trips to the vet, and not long ago, I've found out that he has HIV, most likely passed down from his mother. it wasn’t a complete shock, especially given his time as a stray, but it’s still hard to process. i’m doing everything i can for him, and together we’re making it through.on top of that, there's also a possibility that Finick has FIP. even though the tests didn’t show it, it’s a tricky thing to detect. so, right now, he’s getting daily a special medicine, and while i’m staying hopeful, it’s been a lot to manage - emotionally and financially. between the vet visits, medication, and tests, things are feeling a bit tight, but i know i’m doing the best i can for him. it’s just part of the journey, right?i’ve been a little anxious lately, but i’m trying to stay positive. Finick is still my sweet boy, and i’m giving him all the love and care he needs.when things are tough, i find comfort in the little things, like taking time for myself and letting myself enjoy simple moments. it’s important to stay grounded, especially when everything feels like it's piling up. halloween brought some light into my life, and i’m grateful for that.thanks for being here through everything. it really helps to have this space to process and share. just getting a little support can make a big difference right now.until next time, Lina
