Update on the roommate. She had surgery a month ago and has been in a wheelchair since then. Last night I got home from work to find her using her walker with the wheelchair pushed out of the way. The physical therapist did what I’ve been trying to do for a couple of weeks, convinced her she needed to walk more in order to get back to walking unassisted again. Yay for little miracles! Now if she could just stand up in her shower again, because she couldn’t afford a shower chair, so she’s been sponge bathing. 🤞🏻
