When my parents first tried to get me to do yoga with them I hated it. I thought it was slow, boring and not a very good use of my time if I wanted to get a “real” workout in. It wasn’t until quarantine hit that I started paying more attention to my body and what it needs. I traded in running, boxing and weights for Yoga, hiking and swimming and I haven’t looked back or regretted it once. Stress is such an important factor in being healthy. Stress can effect you body, mind and soul so it’s important to begin a practice like yoga to make sure those 3 components are synced up ✨
