Hello everyone! Yesterday something not so nice happened to me and I want to share it with you. I went to a concert with my boyfriend, specifically the Artic Monkeys concert. It was my third concert after Coldplay and Bad Bunny (I know, I have very varied musical tastes) to put you guys in context, for this concert I didn't get tickets in the area closest to the stage, but a little further away, but it was still in a good area. The problem starts when people pile up as close as possible to the fence that separates them from the area closest to the stage, which I think is normal because everyone wants to have the best possible place to enjoy the show, but for me that I'm not even five feet tall it was impossible to see anything :( I tried to move as far as I could through the people to be able to see even a little bit of the stage, but I couldn't, so I asked my boyfriend to record some songs that I was excited to see, but unfortunately because of my size and the area we were in I couldn't see them.
I am pausing the story here to tell you that, as surprising as it may seem, I am a very shy person and I have social anxiety, so those of you who also suffer from it or have some notion of what I am talking about can get an idea of how uncomfortable it was for me to be in that situation with a lot of people around me all crowded together and constantly pushing and shoving to try to get ahead of the other people. Well, there were 3 songs out of all the songs they were going to play that I was really excited to hear. After several songs, they had already played 2 of the 3 songs that were my favorites, but because of all the crowd of people it was hard to breathe and I was feeling very dizzy, so we decided to go to the side in the direction of the bathrooms to get some fresh air. We always made sure we had all our belongings (phones, wallet, etc.) with us, and up to that point we did. However, when we left and walked a few seconds we realized that my phone was gone. We assumed someone had taken it, but we still approached in case someone had found it on the floor and decided to wait for us to call or something, but the phone was already turned off :( I went into crisis, not so much because of the phone but because I had important documents from college, photos and chats with my boyfriend and my mom that I had not backed up :( I had an anxiety attack and started crying, but my boyfriend was there to calm me down. I locked the sim card and the phone, besides wiping the phone from iCloud, I have two other phones besides that one, but since my country is not very safe I preferred to take out the one that was stolen yesterday. I feel kind of stupid because I should have been more careful :( Anyway, I wanted to tell you this because I have been feeling weird all day and honestly I feel better after writing it. Tomorrow we will come back with more good stuff, thanks to all of you who read all this huge text, it means a lot to me 🥺❤️
