Happy October 🎃
As much as I love this time of the year... it can be stressful and sometimes it’s tough to release tension. My lower back has been tight these last few days & so I thought I’d focus on positions to strengthen, stretch and help release the lower back 😊
Your body is all connected. Tension in your legs will begin to effect your back, so it’s important to not neglect your quads, hamstrings, calves and even feet. Aside from stretching those muscles I suggest to roll out your quads, calves and feet as well.
Unlock to see poses with labels. Photos go as follows:
1. Figure 4 pose (do both sides)
2. Hook lying position (tilt pelvis so that your whole back is on the mat/ground)
3. Forearm plank (make sure to activate muscles)
4. Knees to chest
5. Downward dog
6. Bridge pose
