🕑 Added 2020-09-30 19:10:35 +0000 UTC In America we have normalized over working ourselves and not taking time to relax and recoup. Most Americans don’t use their sick hours or all of their vacation time. I think part of that is because we view vacations as a luxury... when really breaks are necessary for everyone!! I was in Vegas over the weekend for work & made it a point to take time for myself. Not only for my mental health but my physical health too. I’ve also noticed that when I take care of my mental and give myself time to relax, it has positive effects on other areas of my life too. Especially in my personal relationships, which are very important to me. It’s important we nourish ourselves so we have a full vessel to give and work from. We can’t help others to the best of our ability until we help ourselves ❤️
