🕑 Added 2020-09-19 03:18:00 +0000 UTC How often do you get outdoors? I know the pandemic has made it more difficult to be active outdoors or even leisurely... but vitamin D is a necessary nutrient that not everyone may be getting in their diet. Some foods, milks and juices are fortified with it however.. that’s not always enough. Most Americans are inside long hours due to school and work.. plus other indoor activities like video games, resulting in many people being deficient. Walking outdoors, especially in nature, is a natural mood booster and a great way to challenge yourself to be mindful too! My challenge for you: If you don’t take walks already, I challenge you do take one this week! If you already take walks, add another one this week! Benefits of Vitamin D: - Can strengthen bones, teeth, & muscles - Can support immunity - Can reduce inflammation - Plus more
