April 2023 Haircut Before and After
I show off my grown out hair the night before my scheduled haircut and generally talk about my hair an styling. My hair was a little unruly that night, not falling where I wanted it to. Sometimes Iām not quite ready to get it cut when I like how it looks when I have my next cut scheduled. I show off my longer hair from different angles, talking about how I feel about this particular cut and going into the next one. I have been talking with my stylist about going shorter for a while, but this was the right time! I told him my hair grows so fast that he should be more aggressive with it. We talked about another asymmetrical cut with a longer face framing bang on my right and a shorter piece on my left. He jumped into cutting and knew it was short the moment he started- I could feel the coldness form the scissors on my scalp from the proximity. After cutting the left side short and leaving a piece, we decided to take it all on that side. The right side was thinned out in the back and undercut, but the back and left side are my shortest cut yet! This is the first cut since I chopped off my ass-length hair that surprises me when I look in the mirror.
