With roads flooded and phones not working , motorists need pto take refuge in the hotel . But there is a murderer among them One by one , the strangers are attacked . Is the murderer the cop who’s behaving odd, the prisoner he’s transporting , the spooky clerk , the woman on the run or someone else ? The movie does a pretty good job of giving each of these people a moment to stand out and cause just enough doubt in the viewer’s mind that they could be a possible suspect . And what do these murders have to do with the last minute death row appeal occurring at the same time hundreds of miles away ? It’s an effective thriller with the only downside being that by the end of the film one can make an educated guess as to what the twist will be
