🕑 Added 2022-08-12 17:09:27 +0000 UTC The second half of this trip, the second half, begins with our arrival at today's inn, Takayu Onsen Azumaya. From Jododaira, we drove down the mountain for about 30 minutes. When we arrived at Azumaya, we could smell the sulfuric aroma even from inside the car, and our anticipation was so great that we could hardly contain ourselves. We were greeted by the proprietress. She was just as elegant and kind as she sounded on the phone! Then, we started with the private bath. I was impressed from the moment I entered! It's so nice! Lovely! The hot spring looks perfect and the quality of the water is amazing! The milky white water seems to have a very strong composition. Next, the open-air bath! It's also perfect! Too perfect! If you come here in winter, this may be the best hidden hot spring I have ever visited. In addition, there are three private open-air baths, which we entered. These baths are small and for two people, but they are very quaint and relaxing. After enjoying the baths to the fullest, it was time for dinner. The ryokan is deep in the mountains, but the fresh sashimi and many other dishes from Fukushima made for a very satisfying meal! And what's more, the after-dinner designer offered each of us a peach! We were treated to some of their specialty, delicious peaches! Ryokan Azumaya, you are the best! I hope this will be a good reference for your trip too! I'll post another video soon, so be sure to check it out 😉!
