I knew no living thing in flesh and blo0d was by; but, as certainly as you perceive the approach to some substantial body in the dark, though it cannot be discerned, so certainly I felt that Cathy was there: not under me, but on the earth... Her presence was with me: it remained while I re-filled the grave, and led me home”. (Sorry for the blo0d - I’m not allowed to write the proper word here! OnlyFans restricts it 🥴) Check the post for titties 😄 If however, you’re interested in the story of Catherine’s ghost, read on ♥️ (the context in my last posts about this may be useful 😄). After Catherine’s funeral, Heathcliff finds himself at her graveside. She is buried in a corner of the cemetery, by the moors, where the land is wild and the churchyard is overgrown by creeping heather and brambles from the moorside. He recounts his first experience (above) of her haunting some time later, when he admits to an aid that he dug up her grave so he could see her face one last time. One evening after snow falls, he digs in a fit of anguish to the coffin lid but never opens it. Instead, feeling her presence with him, he leaves the graveyard.
