Since im sure ill get some messages saying its not healthy to eat fish/raw fish in pregnancy…i just want to put forth that my high risk very well known doctor confirmed my research that that is in fact not at all true. Yes, there are certain kinds of fish that contain more mercury and are not good to consume…also you should limit the amount you eat as well….However the reason American women are told NOT to eat raw fish is because the majority will go pick up raw seafood from the grocery store that has not been carefully prepared/handled (may have been sitting in the fridges for a long time) which can lead to an array of bacterial/parasitic conditions! I only go to high end restaurants when indulging in seafood of any kind! I must say, its important to also listen to your body, and my body has been telling me i’m craving fish for some odd reason! Also…think of all the japanese/Asian cultures..do you think the women stop eating a primary part of their diet? Highly unlikely! Regardless…just a little food for thought 🙈 Wanted to share some of the yummy foods I’ve got to enjoy lately with you! Do you want to see me make videos of me eating food??
