Sometimes they are harder for me to do, because when it is just me on an entirely plain backdrop, I have to look at myself in a much more intense way, than when there is lots of other things that capture your interest and make it nice to look at. Any insecurities I might have, as well as perhaps difficult emotions that are lingering in me, will feel much more pronounced and raw to me. I really have to face myself... And if I am being honest, I do not always feel like doing that. Working through the difficult stuff, accepting my body as it is, allowing all those emotions to be there... it can be heavy and at times tiring. But the times that I do decide to brave it and work through it, I tend to feel the results feel so raw and special. You can see the vulnerabilty (at leats I think so) So here is a new set of classical black and white photos, mostly round and abstract shapes, some also with a flower, and a couple that are almost explicit.
