🕑 Added 2021-03-31 22:48:31 +0000 UTC In protecting our communities, I am also very ANTI-POLICE because they function more to protect those in power, the 1% elite, the white supremacist systems more than they protect the people. Look at the current Derek Chauvin trail happening right now; why are we debating whether or not a white cop was has more protection by law to kill than the right for a Black man to live ? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This is a topic I feel very passionately about, as well as how corrupt not only our law enforcement is, but how void of humanity those who write these laws are too. Judicial law focuses primarily on punitive and carceral responses to “crime,” which only perpetuates a system of harm rather than healing. How can we reimagine accountability through care and rehabilitation ? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I am someone that has a deep amount of care for my people and to recognize the corruption and to pursue accountability is an act of love to protect us all. ❣️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #FuckThePolice !! #EndWhiteSupremacy
