Sorry I haven't updated in a while 😹 Indie life is harder than I thought! Single matches are damaging. You have to work from early morning till midnight. Flights are delayed.🫠 Yesterday I arrived home and found myself sleeping without eating dinner. I must be very tired if I skip dinner. Now, I would like to report about last weekend. On the day of my birthday, I went to Canada. My opponent, Jody, was a very sweet girl, had great wrestling skills, and was a lot of fun. The show had a USA vs. Canada theme going on. I was on the US team. LOL. But the result was the Canadian team won. After the show, there was a kind of award ceremony, and we, the American team, received a kind of award for our hard work, and we were given medals. But I was the only one who did not get a medal 🤣 Oh, well, I am a foreigner, so I guess it can't be helped... 😂. I was a little sad 😂 More than anything, I thought the fans who came to see me would be sad too 😂 So I gave off an aura of sadness. Other players saw that and gave me the medals they got one after another 🤣 Everyone's kindness saved my life😂 But at the very end my name was called as the MVP of the day and I finally got my medal🤣 and not only that, a cake was brought to the ring! I was so surprised and so happy that everyone knew it was my birthday that I cried! Oh, I thought, surprises like this aren't just for movies🤣 I actually feeling lonely for a long time because I had friends who celebrated me on social media but not in the real world 😂 When I showed my passport at the airport, I wondered if they would celebrate me since it's my birthday today. But they didn't say anything 🤣I was a little sad 🤣 I really appreciate smash for giving such a warm welcome to a first time Japanese visitor. After the show we all had cake together. It was so delicious ☺️ The smash staff showed us a kind of progression chart. The theme of the show was "America vs Canada" and "We are having a birthday party for Maki" 😂 I hope to come back to SMASH again! This is a long post, so I'll leave it at that.
