Storytime: I was 18 years old. Me and my friend, PJ was driving home from a party we had been to. He shouldn’t have been driving at all, but we were 18 and dumb and very very lucky looking back. Y’all, This was the first time I had ever really drank tequila and well, I had way too much. I’m pass out out in PJ’s back seat and it’s probably 2am or close and I see the blue and red flashing lights and thought “oh shit, I better hide” lol I put a small towel over my face and thought I was hidden. Anyway PJ is cussing and freaking out and yells and at me to get up and I told him they couldn’t see me so just be quiet. About that time, he pulls over and looks back and starts loudly laughing telling me they can see me and to just sit up and act normal. Well I sat up and threw up all over the back seat in which I panicked because he was now yelling and the officer was coming up to his window and I just opened the backseat and took off running into the woods (I lived in WV at that time). Well I didn’t mean to run far but I ended up so lost, so intoxicated , so sick, it was so dark and I didn’t have a phone, then I started thinking of spiders which I’m terrified of and then my mind started playing tricks on me so I saw shadows and it was like the worst night ever! I was so lost and I ended up just sitting on a log for hours waiting for daylight just crying and sick! Finally when I could see, I walked towards the direction I thought I came from only to be brought to like a very old and scary cemetery. I turned back around and walked the other way, nothing! I was freaking out by midday when I still hadn’t even found any sign of being close to getting out of there. It was almost dark again when I saw neons through the trees and ran to the gas station where I was so thirsty I went straight and drank two bottles of water! I called PJ and as soon as he heard my voice and that I’d been lost and scared for almost 24hrs he was uncontrollably laughing and told me it wasn’t even a real cop that pulled him over but one of our friends trying to scare us!!!!! I’ve never ran from the law again!
