It was a tense ringing tone that seemed to go on for an eternity😫. My eyes began to fill with heaviness, as did the feeling in my chest. It was unsettling, uncomfortable, but each ringing tone gave me hope that I would be answered😔. I was answered🙂. 5 seconds of conversation and a rejection😥. I've been hearing these rejections for three weeks now and that's why my eyes filled with heaviness, not tears😓. My hands went down - that's what I thought, but no, they reached to open my laptop. I started searching on my own for possible internships😊. 10 company numbers, 7 rejections, 3 ignored. They can ignore me, but I can't ignore my determination.
