We must have been dancing at the time, because we never heard the announcements. We found out about the whole ordeal the following morning when announcements were made and different parts of the ship were being shut down to accommodate preparations for the emergency chopper landing. It circled the ship for nearly an hour before finally landing. We heard a couple of rumors about what medical attention the woman required, some notably more sensational and dramatic than others. But the information above (along with the fact that she was doing well a couple of days later) was all that was provided to us officially. Scary stuff. I can't even imagine how she and her significant other felt.
