🕑 Added 2021-05-16 08:06:01 +0000 UTC We came across these Spinifex rings in the desert in our last trip, and Iain asked me to do a photo shoot. After sitting down I realised that there were a lot of spikes left over, and Iain had to spend an hour or so pulling them out of my butt. The things I do for art. 🙂, If you are interested in why they grow in rings, I found this interesting article today. https://www.abc.net.au/news/science/2021-05-16/spinifex-hole-mystery-australian-outback-microbes/100083850 Maybe ABC should have used my photo for the article. 🙂
