i go to sleep at night listening to the trains outside, wondering who's on it at 11pm, the last train home to nowhere. through the night you can hear the freight trains, the cargo trains which rattle the most but that make the nicest sounds. if you looked outside my window there's a little break in the trees just where a train tunnel ends and through the darkness is this quick flash of light over as quickly as you can see it - that's my favourite train to look out for. when you don't have the luxury of somebody's breath ...
