I was just admiring this photo, noticing that there are three different eras of stretch marks visible here. The ones on my backside are deeper red, newer and showy. and then some slightly more faded ones in the crease of my belly on the front side. And in between them, on my side, the lighting brightens the oldest ones, the most faded. actually a lighter tone than the rest of my skin, if only when the light catches them. and this photo is a couple years old now.
