This year we are out of the civic and into the MX5, racing in the Club Enduro championship wit Matt Simmonite. Just realised I posted the last picture without much context haha... I went back to endurance racing recently in the 750MC Club Enduro finale. This was my first time in the P1 Fuels powered MX5 and my first time properly driving a RWD car. Apart from that time I put my c class into a lamp post / wall 😂🤦♂️. Matt went out first in qualifying and got us a time on the board, I went out 2nd but hindered by clutch issues I just got a couple of sighting laps in but was unable to push on at all. Something a bit different... Thursday night I got a call from a friend saying I've got you an entry in the Racing Hondas Championship this weekend. Work and family commitments meant I had zero time to prep the car, we loaded up late Saturday night and headed down to Snetterton, arriving about 1am on Sunday. I was a bit tentative as I'm not fully recovered from my surgeries yet, so was making sure to stay out of trouble, but even so manages to bag 2 3rd place results. I'll get some footage up soon. This is race 2 at Brands hatch, I started 2nd on the grid, usually my starts are pretty good but I messed this one up. That bad start just snowballed, I clipped a car and sent him sideways, luckily he recovered it but then I got stuck behind him and everyone swamped me.
