I took these photos last week when I was feeling inspired and I’m so glad I did. My lower back has been spasming since Friday and I am in no state to create. Today is the first day I can slowly walk around the house without shooting pains. It’s been a tough weekend but I’m on the mend. This whole experience has shown me how important it is to be healthy and stretch.

Decided to pot a small herb garden in the backyard the other day. Something that has a few of my favorite herbs for me to use in future recipes. Excited to have them on hand now. Lately I've been trying to remake some of my favorite sauces that I like to buy from the store. One of my favorites is a Romesco sauce from Trader Joes. It's a hearty roasted red pepper and tomato sauce that's delicious on just about everything. It was pretty simple to recreate and tasted even better than the store bought version. In this video I ate it on toasted sourdough I've also had it on tacos, crackers, and eggs.
