Rest your head upon these pillows. 😴 Spent the afternoon putting my backyard back together after the crazy wind storm. Vegas wind is the worst.

Have to put this thing away for a few hours while I prepare for 70 mph winds to blast through my back yard. 😬 Not a strange innuendo… really preparing for Vegas’ extreme winds. Only a day after I redid my whole backyard and planted a dozen fragile flowers. 😭 Wish me luck.

Got a lot of work done outside. It was in the mid 90s so Vegas jumped right past spring. Planted lots of new plants that hopefully can hold up to the inferno that is Vegas in the summer (120+ degrees F) Released a few hundred lady bugs today to help with any aphid problems that should arise. Go forth my little beetle warriors.

Just got home from a bunch of gardening places and Home Depot so I can get back to working on my yard. I bought a safari helmet (perfect for my Jungle Room decor AND to keep my head from being impaled by palms) and wanted to show it off real quick. 😆
I appreciate you letting me use your face as a seat.

Dear phone, please forgive me for always bringing you into the shower with me. It’s likely why you barely function at this point. 😣

Floatation devices. Soaked in the bath today after two days of doing my own landscaping. Every joint hurts and I am covered in bruises and wounds. I trimmed all my palm trees myself and several times the barbs on the branches impaled me. Why are they covered in dozens of tiny knives that break off into your body. There was a few HUNDRED branches. They were more like palm bushes. I fixed that. 🙃 I’ll take proper spicy photos and GIFs tomorrow when I can function properly and hopefully painlessly. If my knees are even more gnarly and bruised...

Not wearing my St Paddy’s Day attire today but I did last year. And this time last year I officially dyed my hair red. So, happy anniversary to my red hair! It’s now down near my butt.
